Titan Café

Welcome to the Titan Café, the cafeteria at the American Academy of Innovation! Each day, students will be offered food options made fresh from all five food groups which are grain, protein or protein alternative, fruit, vegetables, and milk.

To be considered a complete meal that is reimbursable to the school, students must take a minimum of three items, including an entrée, a single serving of fruit and a single serving of vegetables, or a double serving of fruit or a double serving of vegetables. To be considered a complete meal for breakfast, a student must include at least one serving of fruit.

While we will strive to provide the menu as planned, changes may be made at the discretion of the Food Service Director without prior notice.

Breakfast Program

The Titan Café provides school breakfast to help students get a good start to their day. Breakfast is served Monday thru Thursday from 8 am to 8:30 am and on Friday from 8:30 am to 9 am. Student meal costs for breakfast are $2.50 (full pay), $0.30 (reduced), and $0.50 (milk only).

Lunch Program

Having received approval for the National School Lunch Program, the Titan Café offers lunches to students at the lowest available cost. Student meal costs for lunch are $3.85 (full pay), $0.40 (reduced), and $0.50 (milk only). 

Special Meals

If your student requires dietary accommodations, please complete the Special Meals Request Form and return the signed document to the front office.

High School Lunch Release

High school students who wish to leave campus for lunch must have a signed Lunch Release Form turned in at the front office. Parents may access this form on our website under the Titan Cafe. Click here to visit the site and download the form.

The lunch period is closed campus for middle school students. They can buy a lunch from school or bring a lunch from home.

Free & Reduced Price Meals

Families may apply to see if they qualify to receive the benefit of free or reduced meals. All applications will be kept confidential. The Free and Reduced Price Meals Application is available online in Infinite Campus. If needed, computers are available at the school to complete the application online.

Credit or Debit Card

Parents may make online payments, using debit or credit cards, to allocate funds to their student’s meal account through our student information system, Infinite Campus. Parents will be able to view the account balance for their students, set low-balance notifications, and check account activity. The meal account will be updated in real-time and available immediately. Families with multiple students may link all students and make a single deposit for use by all if desired. If you require assistance with logging in to Infinite Campus, please contact the front office at 801.810.4786 or email office@aaiutah.org.

Payment at the Front Office

AAI also accepts payments by check and/or cash at the front office and can make deposits into student meal accounts. No convenience fees are assessed.

Meal Charge Policy

The Meal Charge Procedure explains how we will notify parents and guardians about money owed for student meals, AAI’s procedures for providing meals if students’ accounts are delinquent, and to assure and remind parents and school employees that students will never be confronted or embarrassed about money owed for school meals. Wellness Policy

AAI is committed to the optimal development of every student. We believe that for students to have the opportunity to achieve personal, academic, developmental, and social success, we need to create positive, safe, and health-promoting learning environments at every level, in every setting throughout the school year.  Students, parents, and the AAI community were involved in developing this policy. The Wellness Policy was approved by the Board on 09-27-2018 and is available in more detail below.
