Mark DaBell, Board Chair
Mark DaBell is a Software Engineer with over 17 years of experience creating solutions for embedded communication technologies, desktop applications, web servers, and modern front-end applications at L3 Technologies where he has worked as an Engineer and in Management. He has also worked as a private tutor in math and sciences and has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America.
He has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah and a Masters in Business Administration from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He currently resides in South Jordan with his wife and three children.

Susan Bond, Board Treasurer & Audit Committee Member
Susan Bond is a nationally acclaimed educator, coach, speaker, and best-selling author featured on countless media outlets, including currently hosting MACC Casts at KSL/NBC Studios in Salt Lake City, Utah. As CEO & Founder of B.O.N.D. Strategies, LLC, her mission is to teach people how to think bigger and make the connections they need to take their business and life to the next level.
Working with top specialists and mentors in the world, Susan provides a wealth of knowledge and creates incredible opportunities that she shares with her students, clients, and audiences.
Susan is a proud mother and entrepreneur, running her own business and enjoying the benefits and freedom to be both an active parent, as well as a successful professional.

Rodayne Esmay, Board Member
L. Rodayne Esmay holds a B.A. from Brigham Young University and an M.F.A. from Syracuse University. He is currently a professor of Digital Media at Utah Valley University. Before stepping into the classroom, Mr. Esmay spent twenty years in the industry and has been able to draw from that experience as a classroom instructor. He has been presented numerous awards for his teaching, including the NISOD Teaching Excellence Award from the University of Texas, Distinguished Faculty Lecturer from Salt Lake Community College, and in 2015 Utah Valley University’s Presidential Teaching Excellence Award – one of the highest honors that can be bestowed by that institution.
For years, Professor Esmay has worked with industry partners to help make classroom curriculum more relevant and is a strong advocate of experiential learning. He states, “If we are really serious about preparing our youth for the future, community and industry partnerships need to be a significant part of the formula. Learning to find answers to real-world issues through creativity and persistence are of paramount importance.”

Julie Edwards, Board Member
Julie Edwards has more than 20 years of experience driving IT consulting business success at Accenture, EMC, Insight and Royal Solutions. She is currently on the leadership team to grow a healthcare operations technology company creating innovative changes in patient and provider experience. Primary responsibilities in people including engagement, strategic planning, driving recruiting efforts, coaching, organizational design, performance management, onboarding, resource management, and business analysis. Julie was also the vice president of the founding board of Early Light Academy, a highly-successful charter school founded in 2008 in South Jordan that serves 1,000 students in grades K-9.
Julie received a business degree from the University of Washington and graduated cum laude.

Jon Cannon, Board Member
Jonathan Cannon is a Senior Software Engineer with almost 30 years in the field doing back-office programming and systems integration work. Jon currently works for Starkey Hearing Technologies where he develops workflow and software inventory systems. When he is not programming, Jon is volunteering with the AAI Robotics team and supporting two Girl Scout troops.
Jonathan earned his B.S. in computer science and currently lives and works from his home in West Valley with his wife and two daughters.

Ann Lobos, Board Member
Ann Lobos has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 20 years and owns her own CPA firm, North Star Consulting & Tax, where she serves small businesses. She has a passion for helping our youth become empathetic, service-oriented leaders. As a member of the South Jordan Rotary, Ms. Lobos spends a great deal of her time finding ways for youth and families to connect with and serve those in need in our local community. She is very involved with community events and serves on several other non-profit boards including the Family Support Center, the South Jordan Chamber of Commerce, and the IM Foundation.
She has earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Utah. She is in the process of getting an elementary school teaching license from Western Governors University and hopes to find ways to integrate mental health education into the school curriculum. She lives in Daybreak in South Jordan with her husband and three younger children.
