AAI Charter & Accreditation

The charter application of the American Academy of Innovation was approved by the Utah State Board of Education on May 8, 2015. The USBE letter of approval stated:

As a charter school, American Academy of Innovation is now a part of the Utah public school system and is held to the same standards as other public schools. We are committed to helping you be successful.

The American Academy of Innovation opened to students in grades 6 to 12 on August 14, 2016. The enrollment at AAI is limited to 420 students. AAI received final approval by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission (now Cognia) on July 14, 2017.
