The American Academy of Innovation today announced that ground will break on construction of its new school in Daybreak in January 2016.

“Following several months of intense planning and through wonderful cooperation with The Boyer Company and with Kennecott Land, I am pleased to announce that AAI has finalized a deal to begin construction on our school immediately in the new year,” said AAI Director German Lopez. “Our planned construction schedule will enable us to open on time for the 2016/2017 school year, providing area students with a new option for experiential learning unmatched anywhere in the public school system.”

The Boyer Company is one of the largest full-service real estate development firms in the Western United States, and Kennecott Land is a division of the Rio Tinto Group that manages the thriving Daybreak community in the southwest corner of the Salt Lake Valley.
