The AAI Advisory Council meets at the school at least three times per school year – in November, March and June or as determined by the school administration.  The Council has a total of at least two or more parents, two teachers, two students, one board member and one administrator.

The Council is mandated by state law and its purpose is to advise the Governing Board and Executive Director on the following: The Comprehensive Guidance Policy, Title I programs development and oversight, digital citizenship and safe technology use, student transportation and safety plan, First Amendment School issues, School Wellness Program, and any other issues of concern to the school population as a whole.
